When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.

2.2 Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including queries submitted, conversation history, role selections, and feature usage. This data is used to provide and improve the Service.

2.3 User Memory

Verafyde AI's persistent memory system may store information you share during conversations (such as industry, technology stack, or business priorities) to personalize your experience. You have full control over this data and can view, edit, or delete any stored memories at any time from your Settings page.

2.4 Project Documents

If you upload documents to a project, those files are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3). Document content is processed and chunked for retrieval purposes only within your project context.

2.5 Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your payment information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Personalize your AI advisory experience through role-adaptive responses and persistent memory
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account
  • Communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support
  • Monitor usage patterns to prevent abuse and ensure platform stability

  • Team Members: If you are part of a team, shared projects and conversations are accessible to team members as configured by your team administrator

5. AI & Your Data

Your conversations and documents are processed by AI models to generate responses. We do not use your data to train AI models. Your data remains isolated to your account and is not shared with other users or used to improve general model performance.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
  • SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure
  • Isolated data environments per account
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Hashed password storage using bcrypt

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Upon deletion, all conversations, memories, documents, and document chunks are permanently removed with no residual data.
